Sony had originally kicked off the Play At Home Initiative as a way of thanking the community for its support over the last year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, all of these games have garnered critical praise, thanks to their innovative and oftentimes experimental approach to game design.Īlong with these games, Sony has also announced that Horizon: Zero Dawn will be available for free from April 19 onwards.
It is worth noting that all of the games being given out for free through the initiative right now are smaller-scaled indie games. Of the 9 games, four support PlayStation VR: Paper Beast, Thumper, Moss, and Astro Bot Rescue Mission.
